  1. Attend either the Mid-Year (March) or Annual (November) Conference once every two years (current reporting period: 2025 - 2026). Each conference aims to provide 5 - 10 CEs through the CFP Board and CDFA.
  2. Remain in good standing with SMI/FTI by participating in and submitting 15 credit hours of Community and Continuing Education (SMI/FTI CCEs) credit per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31), with at least 10 credits from SMI/FTI and the rest from an accredited organization.  Credit through SMI/FTI can be earned with the events listed in the table. Attendance is submitted using the link provided by SMI/FTI after participation.
  3. Sign, submit, and adhere to the SMI/FTI Advisor Agreement and Code of Ethics annually.
  4. Remain in good standing with the governing board of my primary designation (CFP®, CIMA®,CFA®, etc…).
  5. Continue my membership on an annual basis.
