-
How do the CE credits work for Core? When will I have CE credits reported to the CFP? ›
For Core Training, credits are tracked internally and are submitted to the CFP Board and IDFA.
Each month, we review the progress of our members in training and will submit credit on behalf of anyone on track. This means you continued to attend and participate in sessions, have passed each of the quizzes per your syllabus, and submitted the appropriate number of client experiences for review and feedback from your instructor.
Then, we submit the following credit amounts upon completion of coursework:
Months 1 - 4 are approved for 15 credits
Months 5 - 8 are approved for 12 credits
Months 9 - 12 are approved for 8.5 credits
This comes to a total credit offering of 35.5 credits!
We know life can get busy sometimes and that may mean you fall behind a bit. This doesn't mean you miss your window to get credits, we will just submit them further into your program. If there's anything we can do to help you succeed, please let us know as these client experiences and quizzes will help you prepare for your written case and CeFT(r) exam.
-
I passed my exam, when can I use my marks?›
You can use your marks once you have received a personal email from our team confirming that you have successfully completed all Client Experience Assignments, passed all quizzes, submitted an adequate case study, and have chosen a membership level through FTI.
-

How often is CE reported?›
CE is reported within 2 weeks of completed Training, Webinars, or Live Events that have taken place, usually between the 15th - 20th and the 30th - 5th. How do I upload Client Experience Assignments?›
Uploading your client assignments can be done using the following steps:
Once you log in to your Training Library and select your current training program, you'll see all lessons on the lefthand panel of your dashboard. Scroll down until you see "Practice Training In Action" like the image below: Select "Upload..." for whichever client assignment you have completed and then select start:
Select Upload File to begin uploading 1 file at a time, or a combined file containing the number of required assignments. In the example screenshot below, there are 2 required for PMO.
Choose whether to drag and drop the file you'd like to upload, or select from "browse files/my device", which would then automatically start the upload.
Select Submit. If you upload separate files, please select "restart" for additional files. Don't worry, uploading multiple times will not erase prior submissions.
